The VERY BEST Paranormal Valentine's Day EVER!

There is so much going on this VD day!  Or at least in the lead up to it anyway.

Right now, I am still very into Fae Fiction, and I am finishing Seanan McGuire's The October Daye series about a half-fae private investigator in San Francisco.  The familiarity of the settings really make this series fun for me.  The leading character, Toby, is tragically flawed and full of self-doubt to the point that she seems a bit self-indulgent but maybe she is looking for fulfillment and external validation.  Aren't we all?

I do not often read multiple books at once, but I did recently start to reread Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning.  I read The Fever Series last year, and I really loved it.  So I couldn't stop myself from reading this final series conclusion again.  It just kind of happened without the intention to reread it.  Now that I have started it, I may go back to the first book, too.  Maybe I am putting off the inevitability of finishing the final book in the October Daye series.  The problem with finishing a series is having to find another group of books worthy of holding your imagination for a few months (and helping me amiably pass the time on the elliptical at the gym).

Then there is the release of the Twilight Saga's, Breaking Dawn, Part 1 on Saturday, Feb 11.  both Target and Walmart will be having release parties on Friday night, though the specifics of those events seem sketchy.  What we do know is that with the Walmart DVD is a "fabric poster of Bella and Edward’s big day" and Target is offering an "authentic prop flower from the film's wedding scene encased in a collectible keepsake."  Both retailers have their own exclusive behind the scenes footage and music.  So which version to get is still a toss-up for me.  But I will def be in line to get one on Friday night!

The much anticipated new episodes of The Walking Dead premiere Sunday, Feb 12 at 9/8c.  Check out their online store for cool stuff like this free zombie themed E-Valentine's for your special someone.  There are even Walking Dead action figures for your show night dioramas.  Different sets are available on their site and at your local Toys R Us.

If you didn't get your key or lock pendant for Christmas, then now is certainly a time to consider that as a gift.  Tiffany's has a wide range for every girl's budget.  And this is def the modern goth girls' go to accessory of the year.  Check them out.

But I'll be bringing home my newly glammed up Takara Blythe Saffy!!

She has spent some time in Lawdeda's Spa and feels completely refreshed and glowing with her inner movie star shine.  Meet Marilyn Blythe.

These are the proof photos, and I am so excited to have her home in time for Valentine's!  There are more pictures of her here on Lawdeda's Flickr page.

Happy VD Day Everyone!!!
